board game to strengthen vocabulary of common verbs (20)
Game is to be played with a die and counters. Students jump from picture to verb and from verb to picture. Helps them remember and sight read 20 common verbs such as eat, drink, dance, sing, read write etc... the basic ones:)

Introduce yourself! call and response song (nice for school trips)
Great to sing in the bus to pass the time on a school trip...
Taught this to my 6th graders just before they went on their school trip, they loved it. Some students may know it from the movie "bring it on". Different versions available on youtube.

There is/ there are with furniture and plurals
Students need to write out the sentences, choosing either "There is" or "There are", write the word represented by the picture and ad an �s� where necessary for plurals. meaning of the song Lemon tree
The song "lemon Tree� is very popular but its lyrics are a little obsecure so i searched the net for meaning and came accross some nice materials. I re-wrote them to better suit the level of my students. (source site mentioned under the title). I will use it alongside the wonderful exercises �Daniela� posted a few days ago. (thanks again ;)
