road safety picture match
It is national road safety day in Israel next week. We were asked to relate to it somehow. This is a picture match explaining road signs relevant for young students in easy english.I cut it up and laminated it and students had to match the signs with the correct meaning, it worked well. THIS IS SOOO MUCH FUN. We worked with the song �head shoulders knees and toes� a lot while studying bodyparts. Now students write an alternative version and the whole class has to act it out! It�s a mess but fun. students are really motivated to come up with bodyparts!

colors
A black and white zerox friendly worksheet that has students replace a wrong color with the correct color. (A banana is purple..) Since I teach in Israel there is a line of Hebrew translations at the bottom but they they can be erased or replaced by the desired language.
