I am now, after more than 5 decades in the work force, officially semi-retired. New hobby: gardening. Old hobby restarting: table tennis. I still have some classes to teach and materials to design, many of which I will continue to share with the dear members of ESLPs. You may come across my materials on Facebook and my blog.

3 pages of Phonic Comics with ea head: worksheet, comic dialogue and key (#33)
Here is another one focusing on /e/ as in head. Notice the head at the top right. I use "head" as a key word to help my students focus on this spelling pattern and sound. The comic dialogue on page 2 is one of my favourites. I hope that you like it. I sometimes make comprehension exercises to go with the worksheets but really it is a lot of work ea...

Double Phonic Fun 2 in colour and greyscale with key
This worksheet concentrates on the double consonants ll, mm, nn and pp. I have kept the vocabulary and sentence structure at a basic level to ensure your students can succeed in their efforts. The aim is for students to practise their reading skills and learn some useful vocabulary at the same time as well as giving the teacher a small break.

What are they playing? (1 of 2) In colour and grayscale
I was browsing yesterday’s worksheets and when I saw Fabiola Salinas’ contribution “Are they …?” I was inspired to make something similar. Children can use the list of sports to assist them in completing the worksheet. Hope you like those busy bees. Here is another: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=652266#thetop

Where´s the alien? Capital K track game in full colour, black and white and blank.
I could not find enough vocabulary to make my usual track game so I had my "brain wave" and came up with this simple game for practising stroke order by using prepositions. I have made a black and white version just incase you cannot print color (I know greyscale does not always print well) and I have included a blank. I hope you like it. Key and ...

It´s a girl´s world flash cards (17-28 of 40) with backs, activities and instructions (6 pages)
Not sure why, but only 3 pages show in the preview yet there are 6 upon download. Here is another game suggestion. Hidden card: Lay eight cards (plain backs) face up on the table and allow students time to memorise them. Pick up the cards, shuffle and lay one card facedown on the table and the other cards face up. "Yes!" "Ask me." "Is she picki...
