Task-based test on Travelling and Holidays
This is a task-based test I am going to give my students after the entry unit of the Students� book which is about travelling and holidays. I used a text from a worksheet I published here some time ago for intermediate students. This time I changed the activities to suit advanced students.

Describing activities

Song: A Day in the Life
I used this classic by the Beatles to revise the past tense of, particularly, irregular verbs. The ws contains filling in with verbs in the past tense (regular and irregular), filling in tables separating regular from irregular verbs+ leading forms and translation into mother tongue. It worked well with my sts. Hope it works with yours.
