Halloween drawing and speaking activity
This is a fun activity for Halloween that involves pairwork conversation and drawing. One person is the ´artist´ and the other person is the ´art director´. The art director will use the instructions that are in this handout (4 per page), to instruct the artist on how to draw the Halloween scene. This is an intermediate to advanced level activity as it assumes that students already have some Halloween vocabulary (and some Horror Film vocab also) and enough English to give instructions using ´must´ and ´can´. The directors should not show their lists but only give instructions orally and correct the artists as needed. The artists in the class will need a separate blank piece of paper to draw on. Depending on the class, the teacher can decide to ´award´ the best pair with some candy.
