Dear all;
 I can see here , you are not fans of Russian literature.For me, the Russian writers are among the best authors in the world literature. I enjoyed Dostoevsky- "Crime and punishment" ,"The brothers Karamazov", I also liked Mikhail Aleksandrovich Sholokhov with

And Quiet Flows the Don, Nikolai Gogol with "Dead souls".

Nebal mentioned "Rebecca" , I have this book among my favorites too.

I also like Kafka s......all his 3 novels.

I love all lawyer books, Court cases, investigations, etc.  I don t have a TV in my house, and I am happy to say that all of my children are readers, and my oldest daughter has now also banned TV from her home, (she has 5 children).

I am very worried about the imagination of the children.  I see it so much in my classes.  Children are unable to let their imaginations flow.

I work on that a lot with all my students.

I agree Judy....I see a lack of imagination in the Swiss kids here....too much tv doesn t help at all. Smile
