Memory game : his or her ... ?
First, I tell my pupils they�re going to play a memory game and they get to look at page 1 (as a transparency for instance) for just a few seconds (10 to 30). Then, they get page 2 and need to remember if the objects are the boy�s or the girl�s. i use it to practise his... vs her... (I think it�s his/her pencil).

How long ago did it happen ?
i use this as a transparency. First, the pupils need to guess what the picture is about using the simple past, then they need to ask a question using "how long ago..." and guess an answer. I usually divide them into groups so they have a small competition to be the closest to the correct answer. Then, we check the answer.

fab family pair work
Pair work sheets - one pupil has a sheet with blanks and the other has "his/her family tree", the first pupil needs to ask questions to fill in the blanks on his sheet (his partner�s family tree). I did two so they can exchange roles afterwards and both have a fabulous family tree.
