I then have them read the story aloud one paragraph at a time for small groups or one sentence at a time for big. I then get on of them to read the questions at the bottom....

Introduce the alternative expressions and then roll a dice for each of the 18 sentences in the box to rephrase according to the number on the dice and the corresponding expression or word.
