3 pages of Phonic Fun with ow: worksheet, story and key (#13)
Hi,
See my account for other worksheets in this series.
The stories are classified as "decodable", but unlike many so called decodable stories these have over 90 percent decodable text as opposed to the 40- 60 percent found in most "phonic readers" I mix sentence fragments with grammatically correct sentences as fragments are often easier for beg...

Capital Track T in full color, black and white and blank.
This upper case T has a different vocabulary set from the lower case letter. I have thickened some lines keep the child on the right track. Suggestions on how to use the worksheet and a key can be found inside. I will complete the set but I know that suitable vocabulary is limited for the missing letters. I will see what I can come up with.

a, an, the: color and B & W
The Japanese language doesnt use articles, so even advanced speakers have difficulty with them. Actually I think my young learners did better than some of my adult students with this one. An answer key (as if you need one) is included as well as some ideas for teaching articles.

Mini Book 3: Dog, dog, dog in colour and greyscale
This story (rhyme) is based on a story I wrote about five years ago. This story uses only phonically regular words, 4 short vowels and the consonants b, c, d, g, k, s and t and the word my, which you may want to pre-teach. For reading comprehension interact with the children like this: How many dogs in his picture?
Show me the (sad dog).
