Elision and Linking for Past Regular Verbs (part 2)
An exercise that is kind of connected to connected speech, if that makes any sense. Part one was more difficult so I have simplified it for mid-A2 level students. Answers at the back. I have found this helps when the students are trying too hard to pronounce every consonant when it just isnt necessary. Please let me know if there are any mistakes.

Leadership Phrasal Verbs
Another phrasal verbs project with mix-and-match, bingo and a debate thrown in for good measure. The phrasal verbs are typical when used about leadership and as such are good for business English. The story is all about Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of the UKs greatest engineers, so useful for engineering students, too. An answer key is provided

Whose clothes are what colour?
For Spanish students learning the word whose, which is not an easy concept as it is all about face and in reverse when compared to Spanish. This can be used for sentence formation and question practice and then extended to asking questions about the students. The possessive case is also practiced. The answers are on the back.
