Describe the picture.
An interesting picture, with questions on prepositions and also on the content of the picture. Key on page 2. This would suit a mixed ability class as the questions range from elementary to advanced. Youtube link provided - that is where I found the picture. It is Serbian Naive art. Couldn´t find any copyright but I´m not Sherlock Holmes.

Spot the Differences
This is designed for pair work. One partner has card A, the other card B. They take turns to ask each other the questions and note the answers. They must not see each other´s card. At the end, they compare answers to find the differences, which are Numbers 1,6,7,9,11. Then they write them up.

Coronavirus (Covid 19): an advantage
An excerpt (adapted) from the New York Times. The level of language is fairly high. I have varied the language of the T/F to make it a bit more challenging. The students can then be asked to consider other possible environmental advantages of this thing. (Animals/habitats...)
