Picture-based discussion: should the burka be banned in public places?
My students have to reflect on each picture - what point is each making? - make notes and then I give them a card with ´for´ or ´against.´ They have to give a presentation putting forward that point of view. Lively topic! By the way, it can be spelt ´burka´ or ´burqa´.
