First, they match up the beginning and ending of the ┤stories┤. I get them to work on these in pairs. Then, in individual work, they choose one and expand it into a full paragraph. An example is given Key is included for the match-up.

The students work in pairs. Each pair has one picture of the house and either part A or part B. Then, they follow each other┤s instructions. Or, this can be done as a running dictation, with the A and B cards pinned up on the wall. A fun activity!
