About the Stieg Larsson books, only 2 books are available in English but the whole trilogy has been published in French. It s a really good series and a movie has been made about the first book and has been released this springtime. The movie is basically faithful to the book.

Hey Liberty, I adore Dickens and Shakespeare s books. As for Narnia, I watched it a film, I think, but never had the chance to read it.

Sirah, I have read all of Jane Austen s novels. Adore her!!

Now, I m looking forward to reading Virginia Woolf s Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse.
I got affected by the film THe Hours and decided Woolf is  a must.

Hello libertybell,
I had the same idea for a while but never brought it up,glad you did..
I am a fan of "Paulo Coelho", he takes me from the world surrounding me to the inside of his book, he s realy a "novelist who writes in a universal language"(the new york time).

The books I read in order are:

1. "The alchemist"  - 2-" 11 minutes"  - 3-" The devil and miss Prym"
4. "Veronica desided to die"   -5- "by the river piedra I sat down and wept"
6." The witch of portobello".

Now I m reading " P.S I love you" I know it s already been filmed but I like to read the book..

Thanx again, great Idea..

Sue, everytime I try to read " The Alchemist", I get busy and never ever could start it. It s still there in my book shelf. Uhhhh!! I hope I will one day.
