RC: Our Canadian House Swap
They put the verbs into the past simple tense and answer the questions. There is the possibility to extend it into a discussion, or get them to write some for and against points. Key included. The Canadian family had a fleet of Jaguars and other fancy cars that they hired out.

RC: a disappointing meal at a restaurant
A couple have a disappointing meal. They do the T/F and answer the questions. It is a true story, except it was a wonderful evening. The waiter was hilariously funny. There was another couple next to us who had awful food as well and we just laughed all night.
