Wendy Hardy-Osborne
A reading comprehension. Wendy is actually Dr Whos daughter;-)There are clues in the text that any of your students who watch Dr Who will pick up on: Buccaneer/Chula/Pentallion. And you didnt study those subjects in the 19th century! The unscramble reads,Her father is not a doctor, her father is the doctor. Which doctor? Dr Who, of course.

Comic Sans, a wonderful/awful font
This font arouses strong feelings in many people. I remember being disgusted when the SENCO (special needs teacher) at our school sent me an email in Comic Sans;-) Now, I sort of love it. It is like a big bar of delicious, melted chocolate that you cant resist. Yes, you eat/use it, but then you feel slightly guilty/ashamed...
